Hygge (pronounced Hoo-Gah) is a Danish lifestyle trend that has taken off across the world recently, influencing everything from home design to books. More or less, it is the art of creating a feeling of coziness and being present in the moment … particularly in the dead of winter when it is easy to get down.

In our Hygge Evening program, we encourage positive connections and everyday happiness with an opportunity for people to pull up a chair by the fireplace, enjoy some warm beverages and sweet treats, and connect with others there in a puzzle, game, craft, or coloring … or just dig into a good book with their friends by their side.

There are no rules, just relaxation. We turn the lights down low, light a few candles, provide soft blankets, and play calming background music to set the mood. Make new friends, bring existing friends, or sit quietly by yourself. Hygge is what you make of it. Join us! We think you’ll enjoy it!
