If you’ve used the holds system, you know what a valuable and easy-to-use tool it is to get the materials you want in your hands sooner. With the shutdown of libraries across the system (not to mention consortium, state, and nation!), we have temporarily disabled the holds system.

What does this mean? It means that you currently are unable to place a hold either on the mobile or desktop formats of our catalog. But don’t despair! The pause is only temporary.

If you had items on the holds shelf, we did call in the few days immediately after we closed and provided curbside pickup. If you were not able to pick up your items, they are still on our holds shelf and will be there when we open. Items that were in transit will eventually route our way.

In the meantime, if while searching for future reading material, you have an item you would like to keep on your radar, try the “My List” feature of our catalog. This feature allows you to keep track of items you’d like to reserve and, when holds become available again, you can place a hold on them directly from your list.

Get started today by logging in at sharelibraries.info. Then, add items to your My Lists by choosing the “Add to My Lists” option on the “Select an Action” drop-down list from either a search results page or an item’s detail display.
