Social – Mango Launch and TLO ending2Beloit Public Library recently launched Mango Languages, a premier online language learning platform, now available to all library cardholders. This new service provides patrons access to 70+ languages and dialects, including popular options like Spanish, French, Mandarin, and American Sign Language, as well as a selection of endangered indigenous languages, an engaging, language-learning video series called Little Pim designed especially for kids, English taught in over 20 languages, and so much more.

Mango will replace Transparent Language Online, which expires at the end of the month. If you are a Transparent Language Online user, make sure you switch to Mango by January 31.

The Mango Languages service is free for all local library cardholders and is available 24/7, allowing users to learn at their own pace and convenience. It features an interactive, user-friendly platform that makes learning a new language fun and accessible for all ages. Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the basics or an advanced learner seeking to perfect your skills, Mango’s tailored lessons and engaging content can meet various learning needs.

Mango Languages is available through BPL’s website and can be accessed from home, the office, or on the go via mobile devices. Patrons will use their library card number and PIN to create an account.
