Beloit Public Library is building a new Sensory Room—a public, reservable space designed for individuals or families who may need a calm, quiet place to take a break, reset, and regulate sensory needs during a library visit.
As we prepare the room for community use, we want to hear from parents/caregivers, educators, and community members: What features, tools, and supports would be most helpful in a library sensory space? Your feedback will guide what we include so the room is welcoming, inclusive, and practical for a wide range of sensory needs.
Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey by 1/18/26. Your input will help us create a space that truly works for Beloit.
