Beloit Public Library will host a celebrity of Wisconsin Public Television from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28 at the library, 605 Eclipse Boulevard.
Inga Witscher, host of PBS’ Around the Farm Table, will provide a unique and engaging experience for attendees. As she prepares a seasonally inspired recipe, she will share captivating stories from her life on the farm, as well as her experiences filming the series that highlights all things Wisconsin – from fishermen to farmers to recipes using local organic ingredients. A food and farming adventure, Around the Farm Table connects consumers to small, thoughtful farmers through storytelling, forgotten recipes, and entertainment.
Witscher is a fourth-generation organic dairy farmer who operates a small farm near Osseo. Her recipes have included such items as bison tartar, Wisconsin maple syrup vinaigrette, nettle pesto, and Danish rye bread.
The library event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
