Beloit Public Library proudly announces the launch of SHARE Anywhere, a mobile app granting users access to the SHARE library catalog and the cardholder’s account. This new app replaces the now-retired BookMyne app. SHARE Anywhere gets its name from the SHARE catalog, the shared catalog linking all the libraries in a four-county area (Kenosha, Racine, Rock, and Walworth counties).
SHARE Anywhere puts the power of the library’s web-based catalog and account portal in a handy mobile format on the user’s Android or iOS device. Handle searches, holds, renewals, payments, and digital items in one place–anywhere, anytime. Patrons may choose to keep track of their reading history by asking a librarian for details or logging in at ent.sharelibraries.info and opting in. Families may enjoy the “Link Accounts” feature that allows users to access multiple accounts, including scannable library cards for easy checkouts.
“We’re really excited about this new app! Convenience and 24/7 access are important to a lot of folks. SHARE Anywhere is one more way the library can provide the kinds of services people want and one more place we can welcome them,” said Marketing and Communications Coordinator Amy Mitchell.
SHARE Anywhere is available for Android devices in the Google Play store and iOS devices in Apple’s App Store. SHARE’s catalog and account portal at ent.sharelibraries.info is also available online 24 hours a day. As always, library staff members are happy to help in-person, through the drive-up window, and by phone at (608)364-2905.
