Beloit Public Library is excited to share that Phase I of our construction project is nearing completion. As we move into the next stage, we will begin transitioning the Children’s Area into its newly completed space.
Starting Monday, February 16, the Children’s Collection and Children’s Area will be closed while furniture, shelving, materials, computers, and the tree are moved and reinstalled into their new location. During this transition, children’s materials will be inaccessible.
We expect this process to take approximately three weeks, with the new Children’s Area scheduled to open on March 9.

Please plan ahead! We encourage families to stop in before February 16 to check out children’s books so you have favorites at home during the transition.
