Display Monitor_BookSaleFor the first time in more than two years, Friends at Beloit Library (FABL) will host its huge used book sale.

The FABL Warehouse Book Sale will be held January 20-22, 2022, in the Community Room at Beloit Public Library, located at 605 Eclipse Boulevard.

Sale hours will be:
Thursday, Jan. 20, 2-8 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 22, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Hardcover books will be priced at $0.50 each. Paperback and all children’s books will be $0.25 each. Saturday is “Bag Day,” featuring pricing of $1.00 per paper grocery bag full of books.

Due to Covid restrictions, FABL has not hosted a warehouse sale since the fall of 2019. Many of the used books, music, and movies that will be included in this January sale have been in storage; now there is a huge quantity of them that FABL wants to move out of the door.

“This is our comeback sale!” said FABL member Time Scholten. “We have been storing up a variety of books for quite a while and now there is a huge quantity of them. There is something for everyone. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a real bargain on some great books!”

FABL is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that raises funds through the sale of discarded library books and donated books. Donations that are clean and in good condition are always welcome. FABL supports projects and special programs at the library for adults and children. In 2020, FABL donated nearly $20,000 to Beloit Public Library.
