The community will get the opportunity to purchase used books at greatly discounted prices during the Friends at Beloit Library (FABL) Warehouse Book Sale May 14-16 at Beloit Public Library, located at 605 Eclipse Boulevard.
Sale hours will be:
Thursday, May 14 – 1-6 p.m.
Friday, May 15 – 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday, May 16 – 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Thousands of books will be available – many of them discarded from the library and others donated from the public – across many genres. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
Hardcover books will be priced at $0.50 each. Paperbacks, media, and all children’s books will be $0.25 each. Saturday is “Bag Day” when a paper grocery full of books will cost only $1.00. Bags will be provided.
FABL is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that raises funds through the sale of discarded library books and donated books. Donations that are clean and in good condition are always welcome. FABL book sale proceeds help support projects and special programs at the library for both adults and children. For the 2026 fiscal year, FABL has approved a donation of $25,940.00 to Beloit Public Library.
