On #GivingTuesday and this season of giving, we encourage our neighbors to give back to the community however they are able, whether it be with time or donations. Here are some of the many ways you can

Donate nonperishable food (We’ll even count them as payment toward your overdue fines — or you can use them to pay down someone else’s fines.);
Donate new or handmade hats, mittens, scarves, or socks to our Warming Tree to share with those in need;
Donate books, movies, music, or video games to FABL: Friends At Beloit Library, which sells them and returns the profits to support library programs and initiatives;
Buy books, movies, music, or video games from FABL’s used book store right inside our library (Then donate them to the @Beloit Daily News Books for Kids Used Book Drive!);
Volunteer your time at BPL in one of our many available roles;
Make a donation to Beloit Public Library Foundation to help fund exciting new initiatives, events, programs, and more at BPL: https://beloitlibrary.org/be-involved/donate/; and
Share with your friends and family all about the services, materials, resources, and spaces available at your public library.
