The Beloit Public Library Foundation hosted a fantastic community event designed for the whole family, made possible by the generous support of our donors. On Friday, September 27, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., cars began filling the library parking lot as families gathered for the annual Drive-In Movie Night. A huge outdoor screen, provided by the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF), was set up, and lawn chairs were arranged to ensure everyone had a great view of the featured film, Kung Fu Panda 4.
Nearly 200 Beloit residents enjoyed the movie under the stars, along with free hot dogs, generously supplied by Piggly Wiggly, as well as popcorn and a variety of other treats. Families were also encouraged to bring their favorite snacks from home, adding a personal touch to the evening.
