Beloit Public Library invites the community to celebrate the grand re-opening of Blender Café, now operated by Casa Bugambilia, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8.
Throughout the week, customers can enjoy grand opening festivities, including a prize wheel and a special offer: a free taco carnita with the purchase of a latte, smoothie, or frappe.
Casa Bugambilia’s menu includes a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burritos, hot dogs, kids’ meals, smoothies, coffee and tea drinks, frappes, agua frescas, and sweets. Menu items include chicken Caesar salad, southwest bean salad, ham or turkey sandwiches on sourdough or croissants, chicken or steak wraps, veggie and steak or chicken burritos, breakfast burritos, breakfast bagels, cheese quesadillas, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, smoothies, lattes, frappes, horchata, Jamaica hibiscus water, flan, tiramisu, muffins, and more.
“Blender Café is an important part of the experience for many people who use the library,” said Nick Dimassis, Beloit Public Library Director. “We are glad to have Casa Bugambilia operating the cafe and look forward to introducing more people to what they have to offer.”
Blender Café first opened in 2017 as the result of a public/private partnership between Beloit Public Library, Kerry Ingredients, and the School District of Beloit hospitality program at Beloit Memorial High School, with support from community donors. Today, the cafe continues to provide food and drink options for library visitors, families, and community members.
Blender Café is located inside Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Boulevard. Regular hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
