Beloit Public Library is seeking its first Discovery PLAYce Manager, a new leadership position that will help bring Discovery PLAYce to life as an innovative early learning and family engagement destination for Beloit and the surrounding region. The position will play a central role in shaping the programming, guest experience, outreach, and overall vision of the new space.
Designed to support play-based learning, school readiness, and meaningful caregiver-child interaction, Discovery PLAYce will offer dynamic experiences that reflect best practices in early childhood development and family engagement. The Discovery PLAYce Manager will be responsible for coordinating programming, supporting outreach efforts and traveling exhibits, collaborating with schools and daycares, and helping ensure that Discovery PLAYce is welcoming, engaging, and impactful for children and families.

The Library is seeking candidates with experience in formal or informal learning environments such as early childhood education, elementary education, museum education, after-school programs, or camp counseling. A practical understanding of the ages and stages of child development is essential, along with the ability to connect with children and families and create positive visitor experiences.
This full-time, exempt position is part of Beloit Public Library’s leadership team and includes an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, retirement, life insurance, and four weeks of paid vacation.
