- When: Friday, September 26 — Parking lot opens at 6:00 p.m.; movie begins at 7:15 p.m.
Guests may drive in and watch from their vehicles or bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit close and enjoy the film outdoors. This blockbuster evening is presented in partnership with the Beloit International Film Festival and made possibly by generous donations from Frito Lay, Piggly Wiggly, and Beloit Public Library Foundation.
Drive-In Movie Night began in the summer of 2020 as a safe way for families to come together during the COVID shutdown. Since then, it has grown into a beloved community tradition. Recognizing the cost of a family trip to the movies, Beloit Public Library provides both the movie and a meal free of charge thanks to our generous sponsors.
“Drive-In Movie Night at the library is one of our favorite ways to bring the community together,” said Michael DeVries, BPL’s Head of Programming and Community Engagement. “It’s an opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy a fun, family-friendly evening in a safe and welcoming space.”
Don’t miss this chance to enjoy adventure, laughter, and community under the stars.
