Beloit Public Library Announces Promotions

BELOIT, WI – Beloit Public Library is pleased to announce the promotion of several staff members. These promotions are the first of their kind and as a direct result of the change to its service and staffing model, which now allows for new opportunities for staff to give and receive mentoring, work across the landscape of the library, and expand upon their existing skillsets.

Nicole Ballok has been promoted to the position of Library Services Specialist II-Programming with a focus on Early Literacy. Previously, Nicole served in the role of Library Services Specialist I-Customer Accounts.

Sarah Hemm has been promoted to the position of Library Services Specialist II-Programming with a focus on Early Literacy. Previously, Sarah served in the role of Library Services Specialist I.

Becky Shull has been promoted to the position of Library Services Specialist II-Volunteer Coordinator. Previously, Becky served in the role of Library Services Specialist I.

In addition, several other staff members have received an increase in hours and responsibilities.

Tamara Cain, who holds the position of Library Services Specialist II-Programming with a focus on Early Literacy, has taken over the Bookleggers Program.

Kim Huber, who holds the position of Library Services Specialist II-Programming, has taken over Teen Programming in an effort to offer increased opportunities for teens.

Jennifer Johnson, who holds the position of Library Services Specialist II-Resources, has taken over the Inter-Library Loan Program.
