Blender Café at Beloit Public Library will close after Friday, August 15, 2025, following the conclusion of the library’s contract with its current food service vendor.
The timing aligns with upcoming construction projects, allowing the library to make needed improvements while planning for the café’s future. During renovations, the café space will be used to store equipment and supplies while crews work to transform the children’s area into an early learning space, Discovery PLAYce.
“This pause in service comes at the perfect time,” said Nick Dimassis, Director of Beloit Public Library. “It allows us the opportunity to step back and reimagine how Blender Café can best serve our community, all while making the improvements needed for Discovery PLAYce.”
This closure is temporary. A reopening date and any other relevant updates will be shared on Beloit Public Library’s website and social media channels as plans progress.
