In its strive to be inclusive, Beloit Public Library will offer American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation at its upcoming Zoozort Exotic Animal Experience.

The library has contracted with the nationally acclaimed Purple Communications to provide an onsite, deaf-approved ASL interpreter to sign for individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Not only does this addition provide a needed service for those with hearing loss, it also exposes Beloit youth who are able to hear to the diverse needs of others. This is the second

event for which the library has provided ASL interpretation this summer.
