For ages 8-18. Presented by Associate Professor and Chair of Physics and Astonomy Dr. Britt Scharringhausen. Just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the First Moon Landing, join us at the Sanger Center for the Sciences (SC 150, Sanger Science Center Roof, 700 College St) to view craters and mountains on the moon using 10-inch telescopes, binoculars, and the unaided eye. In the event of cloudy weather, planetarium software will be available to allow for continued exploration. Laptops will also be used to investigate how the sky looks at different dates and times. Please note: Permission slips must be completed for the event and are available online on our webpage, on our Facebook page, and at any service desk in the library. Maps also will be available.
