The 4th Annual Reel Deal @ Beloit Public Library
Oct 19 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm

If you think you know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em, then you want to mark Saturday, October 19th on your calendar. That’s the date you’ll want to be seated in the Classic Vegas Lounge & Casino of the Beloit Public Library for the 4th Annual Reel Deal fundraiser, where you can bet on some guaranteed winners–the Beloit International Film Festival and the Beloit Public Library!

Greg Gerard, BIFF Executive Director, says, “People are still talking about last year’s fabulous Reel Deal casino night, which was, for the first time, staged on the main floor of the Beloit Public Library. The new location proved to be a hit, and organizers have chosen to reprise this popular fundraiser in the same location for the 2019 Reel Deal! A tempting array of 10 gaming options, including blackjack, poker, craps and roulette will once again decorate the very center of the main floor of the library.”

The theme for this year’s event is a tribute to the classic casinos and lounges that one might recall from the hit television series VEGAS (starring Robert Urich as Dan Tanna) or blockbuster films like CASINO and GOODFELLAS. You might even catch a glimpse of demolition footage of the Aladdin Hotel, The Dunes and the Sands, among others, as Vegas made room for the lavish structures of the new millennium. Some tears will certainly be shed by those who remember the Rat Pack performing onstage at the Stardust!!

Just beyond the gaming tables guests will find the Riverside Room, where they can enjoy a tasty buffet of the finest hors d’oeuvres, and an array of thirst quenching beverages, as they marvel at the bountiful display of tempting silent auction items. As Lady Luck wanders the floor, the evening will offer an opportunity to play favorite games of chance with BIFF and BPL Bucks. Prizes to top winners will be presented at the end of the evening.

And dancers will want to note that all evening the lounge show will feature the hottest playlists in Beloit from the VERSATILE DJ service, playing hits of the era, including plenty of disco infused tracks that will have everyone lining up to compete for top dance honors!
