Parenting Connections: Parental Self-Care and Advocacy

Parenting a child is hard. Parenting a child with special health care needs is HARD. If we want to be the best parents, we need to try to be at our best. We will learn ways to take care of ourselves and advocate for our families.

Tim Markle is a parent and serves as Director of the Southern Regional center for Children and Youth with special health care Needs at the UW-Madison Waisman Center.
